As a founding partner of ARHM&F, Marco Ferri brings a highly specialized focus in the practice areas of banking, international and corporate law to the firm. In particular, Mr. Ferri concentrates his practice on asset-based lending, aircraft and ship finance and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, having successfully negotiated and closed transactions for clients in the United States, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean.
Mr. Ferri has extensive experience in a variety of aspects related to assisting foreign clients in establishing a presence in the United States. His clients include multinational concerns in the security, mining, transportation, telecommunication and real estate sectors, and importers and exporters of durable goods, yachts, commodities, technology and other goods and services. Furthermore, Mr. Ferri has expertise in assisting multinational clients in a variety of transactional matters including distribution agreements, cross-border financing and corporate structuring.
Mr. Ferri received a Bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing from the University of Notre Dame and earned a Juris Doctorate degree, with honors, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. While attending law school he served on the Florida Journal of International Law and published an article entitled "Securities Regulations as a Limitation on Access to Foreign Securities for the Individual U.S. Investor: A Proposal for Change," 11 Fla. J. Int'l Law 473, 1997. He is also the author of an article published in MRO Management titled "Key Considerations for Negotiating A Successful MRO Contract," where he addressed several considerations necessary to manage a successful relationship between an airline and a maintenance provider. In addition to his many accomplishments, Mr. Ferri is an alumnus of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce's 2006 Leadership Miami class.
As a member of the Florida Bar, Mr. Ferri is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida and the U.S. Court of Appeals, 11th Circuit. He is also a member of the Cuban American Bar Association, the Dade County Bar and the Florida International Bankers Association. Mr. Ferri is very active in the community, acting as Executive Vice President and a five year member of the Board of Directors for the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce Southeast along with being the treasurer for the Notre Dame Club of Miami. Mr. Ferri is fluent in both Spanish and Italian and is an avid triathlon competitor.
Mr. Ferri has been recognized as one of South Florida's top attorneys in multiple editions of both the Florida Legal Elite Magazine and by Florida Trend Magazine.
